African Podauk and English Sycamore – D#

    Baby Chorded, 12 key

“The drawing of sound from wood is among the oldest and most primal manifestations of human communication and musical expression. When we hear it we are given with a sense of wonder and delight.

The acoustic aesthetic of wood is enchanting.  It is the warmest sound and only carries even harmonics.

The wood is tuned for the simple purpose of hearing it ring and putting some songfulness to its voice. The creator does it to please his self, knowing it will have a similar effect upon others.

These works of art are the tangible and audible artifacts of an ongoing process of discovery.
