Description
Based on research in the field of Sound Therapy there are several key components of sound that may help with Depression:
1. High frequencies activate our entire system.
2. Constantly changing sounds activate the brain.
3. A full range of frequencies and frequency sweeps help bring someone out of a particular stuck frequency or mood.
4. Binaural beat frequencies in Alpha activate the brain.
All of these components are incorporated into both songs along with a powerful intention for the relief of Depression. This intention was held consistently during the recording and mixing of the songs. Both songs also have very “still” and heart warming instruments in order to bring a sense of peace and stillness within the storm of life that we often encounter.
1. Anti-Depressant – This song is packed with the intention of calling in Source energy to help unwind Depression. Some research has shown that Depression is simply like a form of “tunnel-vision” where a person’s psyche is stuck on one frequency. Therefore, we use the full range of frequencies and sweep through all the notes several times throughout. We also use many activating sounds, busy high hats, and activating Alpha frequencies in order to activate the whole system. However, so things don’t get too over-amped we use a heart-opening cello to bring in the love. Love is the ultimate antidote for Depression.
The song is now tuned to 432 Hz which has many auspicious things about it. 432 Hz has been shown to create a beautiful mandala pattern in each water droplet in your body. It is also the frequency of the heart meridian and is what they tuned to in ancient Egypt.
2. Uplift- This song starts with the “iso-principle” technique, which matches the energy of the person. It then, slowly and very gradually takes the listener from a low mood into a high state of bliss. At the peak it utilizes fast rhythms to entrain the brain and raise the mood. It also goes to higher and higher pitches, which activate the mind. Tibetan bowls are used in abundance to also create a calm but activated state. Rain (with a bit of thunder and lightning) is also used to activate, adding in the psychological aspect of cleansing the mind and body of negative emotions. It leaves the listener in a calm and peaceful state, quite activated from all that has gone on. Binaural beats in Alpha are embedded throughout the song to entrain the listener into an active state of relaxed presence. The listener will receive the brainwave entrainment without headphones, however using headphones provides the additional benefit of left and right brain synchronization, which has been proven to be extremely effective in helping with depression. The song also includes a large amount of left and right movement of sounds to synchronize the brain, which are also even more effective with headphones.
Both song work well as background music, but require full attention to be completely effective as an anti-depressant.
